Ingredients

Each 3 gram tea bag contain: 

• Folium Camellia Sinensis (Organic Green Tea) 1.20g, 
• Folium Cassia Angustifolia 0.90g, (Senna)
• Folium Nelumbo Nucifera 0.45g, (Sacred Lotus)
• Herba Mentha Haplocalyx 0.45g (Mint)

Let see. They claim the product with no laxatives. Yet, the ingredient have Senna. Senna is an FDA-approved over-the-counter (OTC) laxative. Maybe they should change to contain natural laxatives since senna is an herb that use to treat constipation.

For general constipation, the usual dose is 17.2 mg daily. Don't take more than 34.4 mg twice daily.

Unfortunately, Senna inside the 3-gram tea bag is more than the recommended dosage. Senna is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken by mouth long-term or in high doses. Don't use senna for more than two weeks. Longer use can cause the bowels to stop functioning normally and might cause dependence on laxatives.
