8 Tips for a Healthy Plant-Based Eating

To shift from animal protein to plant-based protein is not easy. The most important thing is your start to eat more plant foods.  Therefore, if you choose to reduce meat consumption in your diet, these plant-based eating tips might useful for you.




  1. Breakfast Veggie. Start your breakfast with vegan foods for example banana, oats pancake, oatmeal, fried rice with veggies.
  2. Join the Meatless Monday. You can try to not eat meat on Monday. This is a great start.
  3. Shop for Plants First. Every time you go shopping, go to the fruit and vegetable section first. Instead of planning your menu around meat, plan it around plants.
  4.  If you eat meat, use it as a seasoning. Cut down on animal food intake while pushing plants by using meat as a flavoring in dishes instead of the main event.
  5. Create a plant-based pantry list. Many plant- based foods like beans and whole grains are shelf-stable, convenient, and economical.
  6. Get Cooking!!! Plan at least one night a week to try a new vegetarian recipe.
  7. Keep it simple. Not avery meals has to involve cookbooks; it can be as easy as stir fried vegetables with beans, dhall curry.
  8. Try plant-based dairy products. Try more plant-based alternatives for milk, yogurt, and cheese. You can choose, soy milk, almond milk, or any nut milk.
